JAMMU & KASHMIR “Let's compete n check our fitness” weekly Sports event held | KNO Published 421 weeks ago on May 07, 2018 By KashmirNewsObserver Srinagar, May 07 (KNO) : “Let’s compete n check our fitness” weekly Sports event was held at DPL Budgam. The weekly event is being organised by Budgam Police. The second of the series of competitions was held for chin up's in two categories viz., 15 to 20 years and 20 plus years. A number of enthusiasts turned up to compete in the said event. Ali Mohammad of Budgam emerged winner in the under-20 year category and Amir Ahmad of Gangbugh in the 20-plus year category on the first day of competition. Each winner was given a pair of Nivia sports shoes by SSP Budgam Shri Tejinder Singh. The aim of organising such events is to inculcate the sense of importance of fitness and discipline among the participants.
